Hi Friends nowadays in internet, you will find many such websites which you do not want to access or you are a parent and you want your children to have some websites in your computer which your children cannot access. So today i will tell you how to block websites in your computer or laptop.
Although there are many ways to block websites in the computer, but i will tell you the closest way by which any website in your computer will be blocked easily even if you open that website in any browser, then the website will not open. So follow the given steps.
1]. Open Notepad.
First of all you have to open Notepad in the computer, keep in mind that you have to open Notepad by running as administrator, for this you have to right click on Notepad, then click on Run as administrator to open Notepad.
2]. Click on File, then click on Open.
As soon as you open the notepad run as administrator, after that a blank notepad will open, then you have to click on the top side file then click on Open.

As soon as you open the drivers folder, you will find many files in it, then you have to open the hosts file.

5]. Now enter the URL of the website.
As soon as you open the hots file, you have to enter the full url of the website with 127.0.0.1 ip address in it as shown in the screen shot below, how to block Facebook website and then save the file. If you want to block more than one website, then you have to add the url like this and if you want to unblock the website then simply delete the line that you have added.
